Are you hardworking? Motivated? and a go-getter? Are you listing them on your resume?
These are what Recruiters and hiring managers call subjective verbs. This means that they are not adding any value on your resume. Most people applying for jobs will say that they're hardworkers or that they're motivated. There is no way for one to prove that on the resume.
As a Recruiter, here are some keywords that you should avoid adding to your resume:
Hardworking
Motivated
Team Player
Passionate
Dynamic
Creative Thinker
Proactive
Fast Learner
Innovative
People Person
Go-Getter
Strategic Thinker
Energetic
Instead of telling them you're hardworking, tell them about the process or project you were a part of that required you to go above and beyond.
Instead of saying you're passionate, tell them a problem you solved after recognizing that the problem existed.
Your resume is a marketing document, you need to treat it like that.
