How to find people to network during your job search

That's a great question, there are many ways to find the hiring manager for a specific job.

You can search for #hiring and filter it further for the job title and the company you're applying to.

You can search for Recruiters at your target company, check out their job posts and see if a hiring manager has liked their job posts. My hiring managers would always engage in my posts, well I made sure that they did. lol

Hiring managers these days also have the hiring banner, so you can look at that as well.

My point it there is more than one way to milk the cow, you have to find the way that works for you.

Is it extra work? yes it is. The world is evolving and nothing is simple anymore. We can either continue to complain about how everything is complicated or we can learn to evolve.
