Well it's a whole new year. With the new year we also expect a slew of new job openings. Companies will often start their new budget year and start allocating job positions to each department.
What does this mean for you as a job seeker? A few things actually:
First, revamp your resume. You can use our previous articles to do it yourself or you can reach out to us for a professional upgrade
Update your LinkedIn profile. Recruiters often use LinkedIn to search for candidates for their news roles
Create job alerts, on various job platforms. On LinkedIn you can set up it so anytime a new job position is posted you will get notified. On Indeed you can do the same thing.
The job market is likely not going to change much due to companies claiming "AI efficiency" and so you as the employee need to make your skills such that you aren't AI redundant. Most roles still require interpersonal skills, and still require you to build connections with your leadership.
Use the new year to forge new connections within your company. These connection will be your network in the future.
